I included the Wilma Schumann Algae Contouring Soap in my Raising the Bar on Soaps round-up not too long ago. It’s a bar soap that is supposed to help with cellulite and increase micro circulation to help deal with fat deposits. I’ve been using it and I love it so much I had to give it it’s own review. The smell is amazing, when I received the package I thought it was something that had broken in transit because the package itself smelled great. Then I opened it and found that it was just a bar of soap. Strangely enough, it’s not super duper fragrant in my bathroom.
The best thing about this soap is the exfoliating abilities of this soap, it blew my mind just how scrubby it is. I use the bar soap directly against my skin and it’s amazing. It’s rough but not overly rough, but I wouldn’t use it on areas with thin skin. I tend to just use it on my legs and tush because those are the areas I would like to ‘contour’ and get the most benefits of the soap for. I love using it after the first shave of my legs, typically I shave my legs then exfoliate and do another shave for good measure. This is the perfect soap for the in-between exfoliation.
If you’re looking for an exfoliating soap the Wilma Schumann Algae Contouring Soap is a must have.
