Let me preface this post by saying there is absolutely no substitute for a fabulous skin care regimen. Healthy skin is the best skin. On the other hand, I know how difficult things can be when you do not feel confident about your skin so if covering up the issues while you work on perfecting your skin care game is the objective then let me tell you about Maybelline Better Skin Powder.
I received a sample for free from Influenster to review, but this review almost didn’t happen because the shade I was sent (I picked it myself online – so it’s not their fault) does not match my skin tone. However, after playing around with the powder I felt like you guys need to know about it. Shade mishap aside, it is a great powder. Whether you are going to high school or further along in life (starting a new career or whatever) skin issues are annoying and I feel like too many people just try to cover them up without doing something about the underlying issue.
Maybelline Better Skin Powder not only covers up your skin issues it helps treat them with salicylic acid. Besides the fact that it will actually help your skin, it’s buildable which means you won’t look like you caked it on – unless of course you actually do cake it on, so don’t do that! The packaging is great too because it comes with a little sponge that I recommend changing regularly and a large mirror that’s especially handy for mid-day touch ups.
